RAHANA: Lawyer, Women and Children Rights activist, Nasrin Sotoodeh, breaks her hunger strike after 27 days.

Following repeated pleas by her family, lawyer and Women and Children Rights activist, Nasrin Sotoodeh
who had been on hunger strike at ward 209 of Evin prison since September 25th, breaks her hunger strike.
She was also permitted to visit with her sister today.

According to Change for Equality, this was a in person visit, but they were not permitted to talk
beyond pleasantries. Nasrin told her sister that she had been on hunger strike till Friday and that
she had only been taking plain water and had declined to even take sugar water.

It is said that Nasrin Sotoodeh has lost much weight since her arrest and is physically weak but in good spirits.
