Change for Equality: Bahareh Hedayat, member of the central council of the Office for Promoting Unity and the public relations officer of this student union, has been arrested.

Mr. Amin Ahmadian, Ms. Hedayat’s spouse, confirmed this news in an interview with AdvarNews. "At 10pm on Wednesday, security forces entered our home bearing an arrest warrant for my wife, searched our home and confiscated some of our personal items such as books and a computer, and arrested Bahareh and took her with them."

With the arrest of Bahareh Hedayat, the number of members of the central council of the Office for Promoting Unity who are in prison is now three people.
Prior to this incident, Mehdi Arab-Shahi, the general secretary of this student union, was arrested on Ashura [December 27th 2009].

Milad Asadi, another member of the Central Council of the Office for Promoting Unity and a student at Khajeh-Nasir University, has been in Evin Prison for more than a month.
